This album cover is a rather simple design. Those who can send a quick rough draft or related sample work will be considered first for the project.
The picture involves a grey background (like a sidewalk), and a sprout is growing up and cracking through the cement. The band and album name need to look like they are drawn in colored chalks. The green sprout is the focus of the art, and it needs to be painted/illustrated/animated/designed to look pretty and natural.
The art needs to be the right proportions so that it can be printed on an album cover (cd case insert). It may also be printed larger on a poster later on.
It is helpful to see sketches/drafts or related sample work which shows the artists' style, in order to hire the artist/designer whose technique is best for this particular project.
