FCP-X plugin Development

Need to develop a plugin for FCP-X which enables searching keywords. On searching a keyword the plugin app should connect to a remote web API which gives info in JSON. This information should be displayed in the app. The Json content can contain images and Video as well and the application should be capable of showing both video as well as image.
