Add picture to WordPress hosted blog

I have a WordPress blog hosted on [url removed, login to view] and would like to add a small picture at the top of the right column.
## Deliverables
The image will be provided to the winning bidder. There will be 2-3 lines of text under the image. The blog can viewed at http://7thursdays.wordpress.com.
As the blog is hosted on the WordPress site, I can edit the CSS but not the HTML of the page. So the solutions may need to be CSS-only.
I have downloaded and set up the exact same WordPress theme on a separate hosting account which can be used for development/experimentation if needed: [url removed, login to view]
