Cruelty to Dogs and Cats will raise awareness of the horrific cruelty of the Dog & Cat, Meat & Fur Trade. We will raise funds for groups within China that are rescuing animals, that are challenging the cruelty of their treatment, the groups that are making a difference.
Cruelty to Dogs and Cats will accept donations through its website. Cruelty to Dogs and Cats will accept further donations and create further awareness through events & strategic promotion in specific magazines.
The service we provide is offering people who care about dogs and cats, who would like to see an end to the cruelty inflicted on them in the Meat & Fur Trade the opportunity to fund groups within China that are directly challenging the Meat & Fur Traders, groups that are directly saving Dogs & Cats; caring for them, spaying them & re-homing them.
The size of the company will be approximately 5 employees (many more volunteers); the turnover will be approximately £100,000.
We will be an international company through our website, however, events and magazines for promotion, initially will be in the UK.
The company is not yet established.
The website requires 1,000 unique visitors per day, set-up so that the amount of unique visitors per day will organically grow; a conversion rate of 5% is desired.
The main target audience is women aged from 30 - 64, also the 'new generation of givers'.
The website must be digitally responsive to be equipped to deal with current methods & devices of giving and be prepared for the direction of the new ways people are giving.
This website launch will effectively be launching the company.
The unique selling point is that there is suffering of animals everywhere - however, the suffering inflicted by the Meat & Fur Trade is of the highest order. Not only that, it is being inflicted on animals that are held as close to the heart as any in the UK and other Western countries. We provide the opportunity for givers to donate their money to front line groups that are challenging this trade, saving lives, ending horror stories for all whom are rescued, giving dogs and cats the care they need. Finding them loving homes, sometimes reuniting a pet with its owner (as many of the dogs & cats taken are pets from loving homes). These groups, unlike others, will educate and spread the word, but first and foremost, they will take action. We educate in the UK and internationally through the website; we then offer donators the opportunity to see action at the frontline (photos of rescues etc).
The market in which we enter is not saturated. Generally against the fur trade, charities are established. Charities designed to care & re-home dogs & cats in the UK are established.
The difference between our charity and charities generally against the fur trade is that we will be funding groups that are saving families pets in areas where the practices carried out in the trade are drastically crueler than in others, the groups we fund will be taking action, not just educating others about the practices.
The difference between us and the charities designed to help care & re-home dogs & cats in the UK, is that, the cruelty we are tackling, is of the highest order and it is not individual, isolated cases of cruelty. It is the widespread practices of the Meat & Fur Trade (mainly in China) that we will be challenging.
