I am intending to make a web-based basketball play maker in flash or java applet. The finished software should be able to produce a play like this: [url removed, login to view] I am intending to let my visitors to choose what they want to do next and it animates them doing it instantly, so that would mean quite a bit of actionscripting. If you want more examples, you can visit them in [url removed, login to view] Here is the captured animation of a supposedly finished software: [url removed, login to view] I want the software to be embedded on my site, so my visitors can create their own plays. The animation I captured is pretty much what I intended to do. Here’s the criteria: a) The play maker will be able to produce circles (representing players) in two blue or red, 5 each, 10 max depending on the choice of the user. And a small circle in orange (representing the basketball). b) It will be able to add lines (5 types as shown in the gif file) to indicate where the circles will be moving next. c) The platform will be either half court or full court, depending on the choice of the user. d) The users will be able to move the circles and lines in each sequence. When all the sequences are finished, an animation of the play can be watched. I envision the user choosing the number of players (circles) in a basketball court(half or full). And the software animates them doing it instantly when they finish the input.
