Database + Microsoft Word merge

This is a two-part project.

1. To create a database that will contain text and image information. This can be online (php/mysql) or desktop PC software.

2. Develop an application that allows multiple Microsoft Word documents to be created using data merged from the database. This app will likely use macros or built-in Word tools.

## Deliverables

1. For database, this would ideally be an online database. My server is Linux with mysql. However, I don't know if you can use online databases with Microsoft Word. One solution might be to have a database that outputs to CSV. Another solution would be just CSV. Please advise.

2. As I understand it, Microsoft Word can insert images as part of a mail merge, but of course (this being Microsoft), it's not easy. When merged, the document should output to separate documents. Attached is example of Word file with merge fields highlighted. Note: the file and merge fields will likely change, so there needs to be flexibly. Output must be to .doc (not docx).
