I call them 'Recycled Nursery Rhymes". I have tried to keep the original integrity of each nursery rhyme, but changing the words so they portray the many frustrations and challenges of aging. For example, one I recall easily and often when I've parked in a large parking area; key in hand ready to press the unlock button: "Twinkle, twinkle little car. How I wonder where you are! I parked you in a nice safe space, but now I can't recall the place. . . Twinkle, twinkle little car, how I wonder where you are." This is a retirement project on a pensioner's budget. I do not understand the skills areas below; I assume basic. I want clear, fun illustrations for retirement homes, etc. I have 17 recycled nursery rhymes. I even wondered if big, clear posters would be better, thinking of retirement homes' walls. I have tried to make the sadness of aging into something we can all laugh about. Laughter is good medicine! I need advice.
