c# Image edge detection class

This is a c# winforms class. I need this class to accept an image do an edge detection on the outer most part of the image to return a region. This clas will be used to remove any noise that may be on the edge of an image. I also plan on having this class to look at the colors with the edge detection to determine shapes. It will always process from the outer most edge inward to find the region.
