Help Me Edit An Audio File in Audacity

I am needing some help editing and audacity project.
I want to create a template with background music,
where a couple of the tracks fade down
yet are still audible as I talk over the top...
just like a commercial.
I need someone to show me how to do this.
I would be happy to share my Skype screen with you
