Hello!
I'm Kata from Hungary, and I need a bathroom plan and design very fast, because our house is just going through a big transformation.
The bathroom is completely empty. There are no pipes, no heating, only concrete everywhere.
The doors and windows are already installed.
The floor plan fully reflects our ideas however we are a bit unsure whether this will stand its ground in reality.
Lights:
We are planning to design the ceiling lights of the bathroom individually in a combination of false ceiling + downlights + LED lights.
Besides we are also thinking of putting up mirrors with LED lights.
Shower + Bath:
The question is whether the ‘little bathroom’ inside the bathroom will get enough light or not? For that question we see glass brick as a solution. Our idea is to put a long row of glass bricks into the wall - where it is marked by stars on the floorplan – so that we can let more light in. (The marks on the floor plan are rather guide lines than fixed elements).
To this area we would also like some recessed shelves.
Furnishing:
In our imagination all the furnishing, washbasin, washing machine, tumble dryer are placed on the opposite side of the ‘little bathroom’. We would like to install double washbasin (hanging, without legs) as we have loads of space.
Sanitary ware:
When it comes to sanitary ware we prefer the clean and modern design and chrome colour.
Tiling:
We are in love with marble pattern and we could match it with mosaics or mosaic pattern tiles and chrome or metal accessories.
Both of us love the SPA feeling and the mix of modern and classic style with a touch of luxury impact.
We have two very active kids, so safety and being practical are also important.
Pricewise we would rather not to stretch too much as we would have the rest of the house to renovate as well. ?
