We live in a hilly neighborhood and our 91 year old neighbor is convinced that since we did landscaping (and removed grass on the slope between our properties) that is has made her basement flood. She says it's 100% the reason for the flooding, we say it may have contributed to a small degree but that lack of proper building and maintenance on her property along with historically heavy concurrent rains is the bulk of the flooding problem.
