We have a database that we use only for reference--we use it for historical records-no new inputs. It is being hosted by a company and is CF Version 7. We want to move it to a Version 11 server so our ongoing monthly costs can decrease. This database was a custom build back in 2000. We stopped using it in 2012 (now with Salesforce). When we transferred info from custom DB to SalesForce, due to cost and difficulty, only transferred parts of the database-not all of it. We have been told by the hosting co that each version would need to be upgraded: Ver 7 to 8 to 9 to 10 to 11. We may ahve to abandon the DB since it may be too costly to upgrade.
