Looking for a Skilled Marketing writer to rewrite content for university Web site

We are looking for a skilled marketing writer to rewrite copy for University Web site. The marketing writer will rewrite lengthy departmental articles (Biology, Chemistry, History…etc) to a more concise, focused document that we can use on our Web page to attract propective students (our main clients). We are starting with the Biology department at Alfred University. Please see the attached document labeled [url removed, login to view] and rewrite it to a much smaller, tighter article. Whenever possible, we want the writer to use “active voice.?? The finished document will be in the following structure (also see [url removed, login to view]) 1) Departmental Overview (Should answer the questions “What distinguishes this department??? or “Why would a student want to attend Alfred University to major in this area?????"in 200 words or less) Other Elements (May not be applicable to every department) This information should not only address our prospective students, but should also be appealing to research partners and funding agencies. 1) Facilities (Labs, specialized equipment, auditoriums, classrooms??"no more than 300 words) 2) Graduate Success (what are recent outstanding students doing??"no more than 300 words) 3) Student accomplishments (outstanding students in this department??"no more than 300 words) 4) Faculty accomplishments (publications, lectures, performances, exhibitions??"no more than 300 words) Should highlight what is unique, or something that distinguishes Alfred University’s faculty as a whole. 5) Events (lectures, symposiums, visiting artists, club activities??"no more than 300 words) 6) Clubs and Organizations (departmental clubs and organizations??"no more than 300 words) (See the attached document titled: [url removed, login to view] for full details)

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
