Using the scheme of Fig. 18.27 with two op amps (refer to chapter 18),
a) Design a circuit that provides square waves of 20 V peak to peak and triangular waves of 12 V peak to peak. The frequency is to be 1 kHz. Implement the bistable circuit with the circuit of Fig. 18.22(a). Use a 0.01-μF capacitor and specify the standard values of all resistors (refer to standard-values resistors). Assume that the output saturation levels of the op amps are ± 10 V. Write down all the design steps. [10 marks]
b) Using LTspice, draw and simulate the circuit. Use the standard-value resistors and LTC6244 op amp in your schematic. Run transient analysis for three cycles to view the square and triangular waveforms. The waveforms voltages peak to peak should be within ± 5 % of the expected value. Make sure to skip the initial operating point solution. Video record your work and upload the recorded file. [10 marks]
