I represent a multidisciplinary group of researchers from UK Universities working in mountain system science, and we are looking to develop a unique identity for conferences, publications, mugs/stationary and gear for our team. Our team is working in the mountains in the UK, Europe and in the Arctic, although we are looking to expand our network of collaborators globally, working across areas of science such as ecology, biogeochemistry, protected areas management, arctic and alpine research, from eco/social systems down to the microbial level. We are looking to develop a logo that reflects our global, interdisciplinary approach to research, our connection to the high mountains, robust science and one that carries a sense of professionalism to be displayed at important events (but also looks really cool on a t-shirt). I've attached some existing logos that we all really like, some from outdoor sports brands, etc. and some from our scientific peers. It would be great if we could work together to develop something along these lines, many thanks.
