I am looking for a creative designer to draw up some logo ideas with the aim of using one of them for SpiceUK. ([login to view URL])
We are an online magazine for young creative bloggers around the UK, providing a platform for free expression. We have some of the best young writers and presenters in the country as well as young people who need to kick start their career.
We originated from an Afro-Caribbean radio show at Leeds University. The show was called 'SpiceUK' with the tagline, bringing you the hottest flavours from the Afro-Caribbean scene. We gained a diverse range of listeners as we did different topics each week, with promo videos for the show.

We then went on to do things like this

We created the website as we saw the interaction between different cultures and interests was really good. We also know blogging is very popular but it is difficult to make your individual blog stand out. Now we publish a very diverse range of content from fashion, music and current affairs to personal blog posts.
We are also launching a Schools project, where we go into schools, teaching the youth about jobs in the creative industries, the routes they can take and how to land their first job.
We are looking for a universal logo to use as a base for our different strands (Online, On Air, In Schools). We would like to put this logo on everything from our youtube videos to notebooks, wristbands, stickers and merchandise.
I would love to talk some more about SpiceUK and our potential logo.
