I currently have a site that needs to have a mobile version of itself.
The app and website will both need to be integrated to work together on a single database. For example, users can register on the site or in the app and login with the same details for each one. And any actions that the user does on either the web or app should reflect the other (checking notifications, commenting, following friends, etc)
The site is essentially a social network that allows users to create 3 second GIF images via their webcams. The app will need to be able to convert either prerecorded videos, or recorded videos directly from the app, and be able to convert them to GIF format.
Along with the GIF creation, the app should also function exactly as the website does. Some of the key components the app must have are:
1. Ability to convert mobile video into an animated GIF file.
2. Ability to convert multiple pictures/snapshots into an animated GIF file.
3. Ability for users to like and comment on GIFs.
4. Live Feed page that displays the newest GIFs made.
5. User profile that shows all their GIFs and stats
