Project requires an android application that can scan receipts of any type and size, It will need to be able to disassemble the receipt to determine:
1. The merchant or vendor where the items have been sold, basically the entity that has generated the receipt.
2. It must be able to break down the receipt into the different items and identify the amount on each as well.
3. App will then need to be able to send each of the items to an external api for completion.
The most important thing is the OCR capabilites to be able to scan receipts of any type or size and identify the items and amounts.
