We are looking to develop an online project management / tracking system to be able to track and manage all of our projects with clients.
We build online systems / customised software for our clients and need a way to keep our clients informed of what is happening with their project without sending emails backwards and forwards.
The system does not need to be very sophisticated and would probably include the following areas for each project:
- task list / to do list - assigning users to tasks
- timelines
- financials (tracking of expenses / received funds etc)
- project news
- discussion forum for communication backwards and forwards between all users. Ability for admin to make some communications private between other admin users
- trouble tickets / bug tracking
We will produce a full list of specifications and HTML templates for you to use. All that you will need to do is provide advice on including any other elements and do the actual coding.
We would welcome bids from coders who have developed similar projects in the past, or who know of open source software that could be easily adapted to fit our requirements.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

The system must be online, so probably Apache, MySQL, php etc.
Possibly ASP if required.
