The website is for a UK based travel and tour operator, focussing on adventure holidays in the Himalayan region.?

Original Functionailty speck see below- most functionality is in place already , new developer will need to test the code provided to verify the same before commencing any changes

Ability to store Static Content /information- All relevant text and imagery ??" including but not limited to complete trip listings/description and itineraries, company information, Travel booking/ info, News, Blog and photo and video gallery etc. Ability to edit any content on the website simply is mandatory. All content will be provided to the successful bidder in detail together with the structure and layout of the text.

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? User identification ??" Visitors to the site have the option of registering as a member using an email address and password ??" These credentials are? logged and stored in a database which authenticates the user at every login ??" once this is done a private greeting is? displayed and purchase history should be viewable.?

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Search ??" A Generic search feature is required to enable users to find relevant parts of the website .??" by typing in a string of text.

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Availability coding (dynamic) ??" All trips offered to have either a numeric trip availability counter ( reduced every time a deposit is made against it) or a colour coded ( red amber green) indication of places remaining .

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Booking - Functionality to book a trip based on availability ??" Option to secure booking using a percentage of full cost (deposit) or full payment .Ecommerce merchant account will be in place already.? This feature is to be aggregated with user identification.

·? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Search engine optimisation -? The website should be ‘coded’ or developed in a way that it is picked up opitimaly in search engine ( google) results. Developer(s) are expected to advise if there are any inhibitors to this through having appropriate design discussions with buyer.

? NEW - Changes/Additions ? Required to site-

1) Booking functionality to be replicated from the following website-[url removed, login to view]

2) GAlley - Photo and video gallery to be created based on flash ( current Image gallery static) and 'Image gallery'button? to be re-named to 'Gallery'

3) Hyperlinks to be created and added for social networking websites such as FB , twitter etc.

4) Additonal page created for hyperlinks to partner sites.

5)'MAp' page created showing path/altitude etc profile of each trek

6) Booking page: needs a ‘choose your currency’ option for USD, GPB and Euro. This to be linked to the flag that has been chosen for respective ? language

8) addtional? pages? ( around 10) to be built based on a template ( using CMS already in place).

4) languages: put flags with language as word in button and drop down in main nav bar ( cosmetic change , design will be provided)

5) Minor Cosmetic change to design of navigation buttons ( designs will be provided)

6)? page flicking option on each page ( eg: page 1 of 2 etc)

7) additional button- 'CF foundadion' to be added to main nav

8)Hyperlinks created for certain words on a page that enable 'pop up' windows.

9)The company URLs(2) to be made to point to a temporary 'Coming soon' page ( static page only , design will be provided)

10) Site needs to be tested with other browers such as firefox and safari ( latest versions) , and any bugs fixed. Currently it has only been tested using IE 6.

11) Audio file inserted into flash intro

All changes above will be discussed in detail , scoped and signed off with coder before project commencement.
