Multithread domain pinger

I am looking for a guy that can program the following multithread domain pinger:
- A database contains 1,000,000 domains
- each domain is pinged one (!) time per day
- In case the result is "unkown" and no nameserver could be found, the domain and the date of check are put into another DB table
As it is essentially that the script can manage to ping the 1,000,000 domains one time per day, here is the link to the server that will be used for the project:
