How does it work:
For Parents
1. Create your family profile
Describe your family, complete your profile and join the MySitter community.
2. Build your list of favourites
Use filters to search and connect with Sitters that meet your requirements.
3. Post jobs on demand
Select the date & time, set the price, choose your Sitters then post jobs on demand.
PARENTS SET THE PRICE!
Parents set the price they are willing to pay for each job
Sitters decide if the job is "worth it" and apply or decline
Hourly rates posted & accepted average between $15-$30p/h for childcare and $20-$60 for tutoring
Sitters get paid in cash or via bank transfer by the family at the end of each job
Checks:
A Working With Children Check is mandatory for all new MySitter Sitters.
ID Verification
Mobile phone verification is mandatory for all MySitter Sitters and parents. Mobile numbers are only shared between a helper and a parent when a job is awarded.
Profile Privacy
All parent profiles are private and only visible to other MySitter users. Profiles cannot be “Googled”
Home Location
Family address is only provided to a helper when a job is awarded. Map location pins are “approximate” and only visible to MySitter users.
Connect with Local Sitters
All profiles have a photo and some have intro videos. User fitters to find the age, experience, skills, language, driving and certifications you require.
Guardian Approval
Sitters aged 15 – 17 require parent/guardian approval before they're allowed to participate in the MySitter network.
How does it work for Sitters:
1. CREATE A PROFILE
MySitter is a mobile-friendly website. Join and connect with local families.
2. RECEIVE JOB INVITES VIA SMS
Receive job invites on the go on your mobile. Tap to accept or decline job offers.
3. EARN MONEY
Get paid by the family at the end of the job. Unlike other apps, MySitter does NOT take a percentage

You keep all of the money you earn - 100% of it
MySitter families pay you directly at the end of each job, either in cash or via bank transfer
