Modify and add functionality to Wordpress website

I need the following changes made to the [url removed, login to view]
- A slideshow for featured articles and a way to automatically load the latest or manually chosen featured articles to it
- A sidebar similar to that on the article pages added to the home page able to display externally sourced content
- A means of linking external content to the site and adding an image to it (right now we use the 'quote') so that it opens in a new window. it should be easily differentiated from regular posts and featured articles (to be displayed either on the sidebar or on the main page)
- - images displayed for the external content on the sidebar
- A way to place banner ads at the top of the page and on the side bar
- A floating (lightbox?) subscription dialog box when site is first opened by an unsubscribed user and after reading/opening 10 articles
- its possible to add surveys to the theme but we need to be able to place them on the sidebar or as a floating dialog box
- a way to add authors of an article to the article page
- a fully fleshed out footer
- the yellow used in for the sticky post is a little too neon(bright)
- removal of the black borders on the left and top of the website
- we would also like to integrate a database of businesses and fashion industry professionals, accessible only to registered/subscribed members. the sidebar on this page should be able to display featured services/businesses.
- - so an easy way of inputing and editing the data is needed
- - users should be able to search for the content on the database using varied parameters (location, business type etc)
- All changes integrated into the mobile site as needed
