I need an ICS expert to comment on capabilities of integrating multiple ICS feeds between web servers.
150 calendars on website
Each website calendar must accept input from 3 other calendar feeds.
Each calendar must create an ICS feed hourly (or when updated).
Questions:
Is it possible to query and only pull a feed if there is a change?
What possible complications might be anticipated?
How do ICS feeds prevent duplication of events?
What server resources can be expected for each ICS pull? CPU? RAM?
Considering server resources, is it possible to set an ICS feed to pull at a particular time? Considering server resources, with multiple feeds, is it possible to automate the pull of 10% of the feeds in the first 6 minutes of an hour, the next 10% in the next 6 minutes, etc.
You must have documented experience implementing ICS feeds. When responding include verifiable ICS feed projects.
Each feed may have up to 100 events per calendar year.
