Upgrading/Improving Django Portal Site

-In order to make the new (Django) version of our portal functional, we need to add robust reporting functions for clients, providers, companies, and a comprehensive monthly report. The reports should be viewable through the site as well as downloadable in PDF and XL format. The reports need to include overall summaries and detailed lists of services (e.g. within the list of classes the reports would list each class including details like date, time, provider, class type, content covered, hourly rate, tax rate, etc).

-Need to link Payments to Services (currently our database is structured so that Payments and Services are independent of one another and thus it functions as a running tab system). Need this system to be ‘smart’ so that Service Tax is charged only once, either on the Payment or on the Service, whichever one comes first.

-Ability to mark missed/cancelled classes and show what percentage was charged (i.e. 100% or 50%)

-Ability to add service packages (e.g. a 12-hour private class package) so that the site will automatically change a client’s rate back to the normal rate at the end of the 12 hours. Students on special packages need to also be tracked within a list showing us how many hours they’ve used and how many they have left.

-Need to optimize database tables and find ways of improving site performance (whether through cleaning up code or otherwise).

-Need to improve portal site security by adding a site log-in attempt limit (and/or basic firewall) and by encrypting data.

-Updating to the latest version of Python (3.4.2)

-Updating to the latest version of Django (1.8.3)

-Some other general improvements such as alphabetizing certain lists and/or changing the default order of lists.

-General aesthetic improvements (e.g. updating logo file, and favicon).
