Wordpress and SportsPress PRO API Integration

We have a website running Wordpress and Sportspress Pro.
I need to use the Sportspress Pro API ([login to view URL]) to register players to competitions with a one button click.
Our site has wordpress registered users so i wish to take the wordpress username and pass that into the sportspress API so that it can register a player without prompting for player name.
Would also be nice if we could create some custom forms using the SportsPress APIs so when our wordpress users register for competitions and create teams, they do not see the wordpress back-end pages.
