As the owner of InfiniteGlass, a Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), I'm seeking a seasoned software developer to bring in a fresh perspective and upgrade the program. Here's what the job looks like:

- Introduce substantial UI/UX enhancements: I need the software to have a friendlier interface while maintaining its functional status.

- Create and integrate new features: FOSS communities are continuously evolving and requiring new functionalities. I'm relying on your creativity to keep us at par with contemporary trends.

- Implement bug fixes and optimization: Given the extensive use of the software, bugs are inevitable, and so is the constant need for optimization.

- Write tests: This precautionary measure is crucial to ensure the software's performance remains at its peak.

- Compatibility is an issue I want to address, specifically to Linux users.

A successful candidate should have a strong background in FOSS, experience in UI/UX design, speedy bug fixing skills, and a good grasp of Linux operating systems. Additionally, I'll value a creative problem solver who can build out-of-the-box features for our unique FOSS audience.
