Experience with music technology tools, specifically pro-audio plug-ins and hardware is a huge bonus.
The contest winner will be awarded the contest prize and commissioned under NDA to design a new user interface for a brand-new product.
To win, we require two versions of a user interface design for a software audio plug-in version of this hardware: Neumann PEV-b Equalizer.
Version 1: Design a 3D photo-realistic interface that is an exact software replica of the hardware. This needs to be as photo-realistic as possible, ideally indistinguishable from a photo of the EQ. Show this at an interesting angle with appropriate lighting.
Version 2: Design a vector-based version of the same design with some creative freedom and make it more modern or a “flatter version” of the hardware.
IMPORTANT: Software UI kits may NOT be used to produce any of the assets. All work must be completely original.
Please note that this project is not a planned product and is for skill-testing only.
