Research Manuscript in Architectural Science

3)Lighting Experiment (Lighting Lab)
You will have to do a research manuscript ready for submission to a scholarly research journal such as the Architectural Science Review. Please follow these style instructions:
-Use 12 point font throughout (Times New Roman preferred)
-Embed figures and tables within the text or your manuscript, and
-Restrict the length of the submission to 7 x A4 pages (incl. figs, tables, refs, abstract)
-Use single line-spacing
-Paragraph formatting should include 6 point gap before and after, no first-line indentation, left-justification
-Section Headings should appear on separate lines in bold font
-Margins should be 2.5 cm on all four sides of the page

-THIS should include the following:
-abstract (~250 words),
-Introduction
-background to the problem,
-statement of the research question,
-review of the literature,
-description of research methods,
-presentation of research results,
-discussion and interpretation of the results in relation to the key issues/hypotheses/theories identified in the literature review,
-conclusions,
-acknowledgment of research support (lab tech staff etc),
-references (only those references actually cited in the paper).
