Solution Desgin (architecture) of backend to be used for my mobile app

I need you to provide me with architecture that I should use for my mobile app. I do not need any support on the mobile app itself. Please note that i need two to three pages for the solution design. I dont need the esitmates for building the soluiton itself as of now. That will be a seperate project. If you have skills on that, please mention it in the document.

Purpose of the app - To be used by parents to view classroom timetable and send absentee note to schools in student is unable to go to office on a certain day; Also, school can send push notification to parents on this app

What I need from you - Architecture to be used for the backend. I have read that the backend can be created on oracle and using php server side scripting can be done for maintaining data, sending push notification etc. But at the same time, I also read about some MBaaS (Mobile backend as a service) such as Parse that can be used for backend.

I need guidance on which model to go to. I need someone to think about which solution suits my needs best

The solution has to be scalable as I will be implementing this in many schools. Plus the solution needs to be secure as there is lot of data of students (name, age, address) that will be in the backend so it need be secured
