I want to have built a POS ( point of sale )software based on a older VB 6 version I have had built in the past. I would like it to be rewritten in C# or C+ which ever is best or if you can recommend something other, I could consider it.

The program should work on windows Xp , windows 7 and server 2003 if the combination is possible. I don't have the source code for the visual basic one as I never got it from the programmer I paid in the past. But I do have the fully working version which I like it to be based on, the functionality is pretty perfect but the design is just awfull.

The program includes a Handhald version also , written for windows CE 5.0 or 6.0
