Lead generation - compile list of software companies using Owler and/or other open-source online databases
Please let us know your quote for every 100 leads, or 1,000 leads, generated, using:
1. [login to view URL] (recommended, but alternative suggestions are welcome)
2. An online encyclopedia (to be discussed with applicants)
The budget range is currently just a placeholder (can be more than $30 SGD), and can be negotiated according to how long or difficult you think the project is going to take. We can budget much more for large quantities of quality leads.
We are looking for potential long-term collaboration as well.
We will only consider applicants who carefully read our job post.
ABOUT US
We are a small, newly launched team that offers public relations services to software companies. We send customized emails to each company, and do not do bulk emailing.
PROJECT SUMMARY
This project will involve making a list of software companies that are not already listed in an open-source online encyclopedia which categorizes the companies according to industry sector and location. Details of the encyclopedia will be discussed with selected candidates.
We will just need the (1) company name and (2) best way to contact them online (whether email or contact form).
We have no set deadlines for this project, as it can potentially be a long-term one.
Applicants who can automate or semi-automate the process (web scrapers, etc.) are also welcome.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. We recommend using [login to view URL] to search for companies, since it is a free crowdsourced site, but other suggestions for alternative business intelligence sites that work just as well as (or better than) Owler are welcome.
2. Priorities are companies based in or with a significant presence in countries that speak French, Spanish, or Portuguese (Romance languages). We should focus primarily on companies based in: Latin America, Canada, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Tunisia, Lebanon, and other Francophone, Hispanophone, and Lusophone countries. Singapore and Indonesia are also preferred.
3. We will just need their preferred contact info - whatever method is best for contacting them online, whether a contact form online, or an email (sales or PR department). Some companies' websites have contact forms rather than emails. If those exist, then we can just list their contact form URL rather than email.
No need for phone numbers, since we do cold emailing, not cold calling.
4. The companies listed will need to be similar in size and revenue to the other companies that are already listed on the website. This is very important - the companies need to be direct competitors or peers of the companies already listed in the online encyclopedia, and not significantly smaller in size or notability.
5. A sample template is attached, but it will likely be modified as we discuss and plan our project.
