Heyy, I took all your notes and comments on my colleagues work into consideration. I used marble for the countertop, and black for the cabinets so it would go with rustic and black metals theme you requested(Fridge on the left, sink on the Island, and Chevron marble tiles for the backsplash ;) ) I used wooden beams in a squared form for the kitchen ceiling zone. I changed all windows to black metals and extended the main balcony/window to a double height so more light would enter the space and feel more natural going with the interior rustic style, same colour as the light brown rustic flooring you have. I added a wood cladding same colour as well to the two columns. A simple rustic white wall for the TV and it's unit with the pathway on top to the balcony. Not really sure what type of seating you would prefer, but here's my suggestion.
