We want to have a custom registration field for "Location" on our Xenforo community. For this we intend to use the Googel Javascript API that you can see here: From the above API we want to remove and disable all the fields except City, State & Country. The user just starts typing his City and the API will do the rest. Currently we do have a "Location" field but the problem is the location field in the database isn't a custom field but a separate column in the user profile table. We are unable to search this field from XenForo front end. We would like to remove this field and use the above method. Also we want to force the existing users to update their location using the above API

I have a function that is returning data for an ajax call. I can't get the data formatted in a way that Twitter's TypeAhead/Bloodhound can take and produce the autocomplete dropdown. I just need help returning the data in the correct format. I have tried and array and json but the typeahead either doesn't display anything or it displays 5 "undefined" items in the list. For someone who knows PHP, specifically Laravel, jquery, ajax, and has worked with typeahead and bloodhound before, this should take you about 10 minutes. I am stuck and documentation isn't helping me and I can't find the right resource through google that is getting me any closer than I am now. Things are close but just not lining up....
