We already have a filemaker database but need a new one developed that has a better architecture and connects with our payment system and shipping tool. Current database is around 25 MB in size.
Database functions needed:
-serves as our CRM and hold all account information including payments dates, amounts, shipment dates, tracking numbers, notes about each shipment, refunds, credits, notes, shipping address, etc
-connect via API to our recurring payment system Recurly
-will need to be programmed so that payments are broken up into "x" shipments based on the frequency plan the customer has. Example: Customer A pays $100 every 28 days and has a weekly frequency so 4 payment lines will need to be created, each being $25.
-corresponding shipment dates will need to be programmed for each payment based on state and date of payment
-payments declined will need to be routed to a dashboard so that once payment comes in we can manually enter in the shipment dates
-connect via API to Shiprush or other Fedex system to generate shipping labels and store tracking numbers for each shipment date
-reporting, be able to run a report selecting any combination of field or fields
-search function
-auto input all new customer data
-connect via API to Amazon to input all customer data, payment, order #, order date, shipment date, product ordered, shipment tracking #
New database should be built off of Microsoft Access or Filemaker
