We have a cgi-bin script that needs enhancing - the program is Perl. It requires working with the way our program sends out emails.
## Deliverables
Our hosting company is requesting that the script be edited so that the emails are scheduled to send in batches of 25, rest 3 seconds and then send the next batch. We would also need to make sure that we do not wait too long for a queue to collect 25 emails before sending them out.
For instance, if 10 seconds passes and there are not 25 emails in the batch, they need to be sent anyway, rest 3 seconds and then send the next batch.
The script now, sends emails out individually ??" one, then another, then the next etc, and when it hits 100 in a short amount of time, it causes the the hosting system to shut the script down.
The program language is Perl.
This is a very urgent request and needs to be done quickly.
