Troubleshooting and fixing Ubuntu setup

Logging in remotely to my Ubuntu box and fixing up the setup. The installation is not fully functional. I have difficult time to boot up OS. OS is coming up with different error messages; "Cannot find grub drive", "906e not supported yet" etc. OS cannot update any more.
