Our Mission is “To Move People to Strive for God-consciousness, Liberty and Justice, and to Convey Islam with Utmost Clarity”. Our Vision is to create “A Virtuous and Just American Society”.
MAS NY is divided into 3 subchapters. Brooklyn & Staten Island, Queens & Long Island, and MAS Upper NY. In total we have 7 MAS centers. MAS Andalusia School located in Yonkers. MAS Bronx Muslim Center located in the Bronx. MAS Youth Center and MAS Sheepshead Bay located in Brooklyn. MAS Community Center located in Staten Island. MAS Dar Al Dawah and MAS Ibn Sina Center located in Queens.
Our 3 main departments are MAS Youth, MAS Tarbiya and MAS PACE (Public Affairs & Civic Engagement). Some of our signature projects include MAS Reverts Reconnect, Know Your Neighbor, Many Meals, Shahadah Box, Usra/Halaqa gatherings, Annual Youth Camps and Annual Family Camps.
So want to get involved?! We can use some extra smiles. A movement for GOOD needs GOOD people. As a grassroots organization, MAS gains its strength from people like YOU; its members and volunteers. Becoming a MAS member instills a sense of responsibility in an individual and provides a sense of community in the form of geographic chapters.
