Drupal - add slide show automatically scroll

I have a Drupal theme that uses has a slide show feature. However, it requires that the user use the pager to advance through every slide. I want to add auto scrolling functionality to this scroller.

There are paging buttons at the bottom of each "slide". I would like these to remain but also add the ability for the slide show to automatically advance on a 3-4 second interval.
