The code at [login to view URL] is used for image matching using jpg files. I need to install it on an HPC where I don't have root access, but where I can send commands to Docker (via Singularity 2.6.0). Creating the Docker container can be achieved by reaching, then following section 5 of the instructions.

There may be a few snags, but nothing huge (even I managed *most* of it and I'm a novice).

It needs to be compiled using Ubuntu 16.04 (will not work with 18.04).

line 37 - openmpi needs pmix flag to work.

line 41 Imagemagick dependency needs updating, but no higher than 6.9.* versions - anything later will not work.

line 108 config file also needs descsFn=/***PATH***/descs.e3bin.

line 114 should be $DEP_LIBDIR"/bin/mpirun" -np $CPU_CORE_COUNT python [login to view URL] $SE_ID $CONFIG_FILENAME

Please check to make sure that the indexing portion works (section 4) before creating the Docker Container (as per stage 5) - just give it a few jpgs to test. I don't care about the searching element at the moment.
