Need Video Editors to Rough Cut for Online Courses
$15-25 CAD / hour
I need video editors to help rough cut online course videos for my real estate education business. These videos are between 3-10 minutes long and they cover different principles of investing and creating additional sources of income.
I’m starting an online e-learning platform dedicated for real estate investing. I want to edit videos similar to courses on Udemy or Teachable.
First you will have access to a batch of pre recorded videos and course outlines from google drive which you can download. You can find an example of an edited and raw version of a video in the resources below. Then you will have to separate the audio to apply noise reduction effects using software like Adobe Audition.
Next, you will be rough cutting the video for outtakes or whenever the speaker is stumbling so that the video is easy to understand. This would include words that speakers repeat over and over such as (so, and, um, like). Transitions between cuts are usually a crossfade or no transition at all.
After you will add the logo watermark of the company in the bottom right corner.
Once everything is done, the video will be uploaded in a new folder titled (edited *course name*) which will then be reviewed by my team for comprehension of the overall concept and either offer notes for any additional cutting involved or to insert slides where appropriate.
Requirements: Videos must be exported in at least 1080p
Need to have access to adobe premiere & adobe audition
All recorded audio must be edited so there is no background noise
No added music to the recorded videos
We’re producing over 20 courses for the course of the entire year varying between 3-6 hours in length each. I need someone who can spend at least 3 hours a day. Need to start on the project as soon as possible.
This is a long term position with more opportunity to pick up work as the business grows.

As far as project management goes, keeping track of progress will be done through trello boards, where you can mark projects as completed and seeing what are the courses that are prioritized for production.
