We have a project that is written completely in VB6. There are 19 forms, 4 classes, and 4 module. It uses DataEnviornment for connectivity to a MDB database. It references to some DLL like MSCOMM32 for connection to RS232 devices. We want this to be re-written to use VB.net. A copy of all the code and database will be provided. We have an old Leave/Sick tracking system in Lotus Notes. The software is so old that it only works on older computers. I need some help in finalizing some reporting modeling that I did with Excel and Power Query. Basically I connect with NoteSQL to a Lotus Notes Database where we store information on financial transactions, timesheets, jobs etc. There are about 10 views that are imported from Lotus Notes in Power Query and it is working very fine, no errors. Then I process these views – grouping, filtering, merging, appending, adding custom columns to create my own relevant queries. At the end, I aggregate all the queries into a big one that I import in Excel/Datamodel to process it with Pivots.
