Job description "Lecture Slideshow Influence of Great Explorers" Research for images and create slideshow (some 32 slides) with Impress Open Office QUALIFICATIONS: I am looking for an individual with experience in Impress Open Office who will understand the text of the lecture, research for suitable images and then create an aesthetically pleasing presentation. Scholarly background in humanity or art sciences would be a considerable plus. BRIEFING Language of lecture: English Subject: Influence of the Great Explorers of the 16th century AD to the world. Duration: 30' JOB DESCRIPTION Text: I already have the complete text for the lecture and it includes a description of what each slide should specifically include. The template (background) of the slides will be taken over from another slideshow. The job is for you to create a Powerpoint-style presentation for the lecture including research for fitting images (photos, artistic depictions, artwork, graphs). Specifications as follows: Software: Impress (Open Office, files .odp). I use a MacBook Air. I must be able to edit the file afterwards. Projection: The venue will provide a good quality projector (specifications unknown) and a large screen (some 2.5m x 2.5m). There will not be wifi or internet connection at the location. Images: It is part of the job to verify that all images will look sharp when projected, and perhaps to find some additional appropriate images, which must be copyright -free (the lectures will not be commercial, they will be free of charge). Approx. 75 slides for this lecture. Deadline: 10 calendar days from agreement. References: You must present recommendations for having successfully completed similar jobs, or relevant samples.
