I selected several freelancers for this job (Stage 1). If the price is write and we like your work I will open up the other worksheets and assign you more rows. As a start up price is obviously important as is our deadline (end Feb) I will not haggle but go with the price quoted (please revise proportionally to accommodate 25 not 100 items for this Stage 1). I will say that some quotes are much higher than others and there are some wild differences in timescales too. That said, Ive selected based on your responses rather than the timescales and prices but this will change as I calculate value vs budget in later stages which means I will need to drop a writer or two in later Stages. Also keep in mind that if the site goes live then there could be many more jobs from the site and frequently too. So the brief: We're in the process of testing a new site and are looking for content to test the site with. The content will be focused on places that one can visit around the globe this may be a city, a country, a town, a county, or an attraction within one of these places - attractions being something you can see or do within one of these countries, towns, cities. The subject will be “What to Expect”. I have a spreadsheet containing a mixture of around 600 rows each representing a place or a "see do" and I will share the spreadsheet with each of the writers invited to this project. I will ask each writer to work in stages / milestones, the first stage (this job) will be to complete a 200 word "what to Expect" piece for the first 25 rows. So that's 25 'What to Expects', 200 words for each of the 25. We will start at number one and work through the list until budget runs out or we feel we have enough to test with. I'm currently thinking that there is enough for about 80 to 120 "What to Expects" from each writer. The content must be original and not copied or scraped. The content must be UK English. If we find any non original content then I'm afraid we will be seeking damages or at the very least not pay for any of the work you've provided as we will need to delete everything you've submitted. The harsh world of copy-write infringement and unique SEO.... written as a what to expect when you get there review describing the location / There is no need to sell any of these places but rather provide honest feedback based on your experiences. We don't expect you to have visited these places but please write as if you had and are sharing your experience with the world. It is important that you remain lively and honest but yet manage the reader’s expectations. Please include any helpful references to accommodate, hygiene, if traveling alone, with a group of friends, individuals, and family with young ones, couples, dog owners / walkers, teens, the disabled and senior retired persons. Think about the lifestyle, buzz, and ambiance a place has to offer. Consider accommodation, getting around. Include age of the place, how many people visit each year, if it accommodates tourism, population, price and budget. The spreadsheet I attach features green columns for places or things you will be writing about, gold columns for fields that I need content for (could be the town name that the thing is located in, or the city, and or the county and the country as well as the "what to expect"; in other cases I just need the "what to expect". The worksheets have your names assigned so please just do the tab appropriate to your name. If you don't know, have a question, don't have enough information available then just leave the row blank and move on - there are plenty of rows. Again this brief is for the FIRST 25 rows in the spreadsheet, please don't go beyond this until I brief Stage 2 as I will need to review your work and of course pay you in stages. erm think that's it but please ask away. Oh yes, all of the stages must be completed by end of February 2015. Look forward to hearing from you / seeing your work. Milton
