Content Writing

We are looking to have a one hour lesson plan written that will be used by our tutors (not professional teachers) running our clubs. You will be required to research games, activities and materials for the tutor to use during the one hour teaching period, which is based around teaching the children the basics of business and accompanying life skills (i.e communication, presentation, state of mind, etc). The children will be aged between 5-10 and of mixed ability. The key to the lessons are that they need to be fun for the children but with a tone of learning throughout the lesson. The children will be being taught in a room large enough for most activities. They will also have access to a study area where the tutor can speak with class and give help and advice. When designing the games and activities, feel free to use items / props / consumables that we can source, to aid the experience and give a greater learning outcome. For example, on teaching children about the value of items you could do the following activity after spending some time explaining about it. Give the children a number of sweets each, but different types and get them to trade sweets with one another. This will encourage them to think about the value of an item along with what they are prepared to give up, in order to get the type of sweets that they really like. We have many more lesson plans to write, and want to find someone that has the right skills to work with us. The theme of this lesson plan is confidence. Try to do activities that encourage the children to be more confident. Learn what the benefits are about being confident, especially within the frame of entrepreneurship.
