Dance Vilage

I'd like to create a program that allows me to create dancing routines for my pupils. As a Ballroom dancing instructor i am asked on a regular basis to make new routines that can be used for examinations or competitions. As such i try to avoid repeating routines but it becomes increasingly difficult! There are nine dances (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quicktep, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble & Jive) each with their own steps. As the user I'd like the process to go something like this: 1. PICK YOUR DANCE 2a. PICK THE LENGTH OF MUSIC & NUMBER OF BARS PER MINUTE (computer calculates total bars required) or 2b. MANUALLY ENTER THE NUMBER OF BARS REQUIRED 3. PICK YOUR LEVEL (Bronze, Silver, Gold) 4. LOOP ROUTINE? (this check box will allow the routine to be looped ie; the last step will allow the dancer to dance the first step therefore repeating the routine) *NOTE* The level determines what steps are allowed for the routine. After determining this information the user will be taken to the dance chart, where they now have to options 1. Random routine (completely computer generated to fit the length of the music) 2. Manual entry. Allows the user to create the routine from the start. By picking a step they therefore narrow down the selection for the following step. At any time the user will be able to autofill the remainder of the routine with a random routine generated by the computer. Next to each step will be the number of bars it takes and a running total of the number of bars danced/remaining I have a complete list of all the steps as listed in the official dancing technique in Excel format with a list of the length of the step (in bars), the level at which it can be danced (bronze, silver, gold), and the steps that can preceede and follow it. Visually the product should be simple and clear, as the information it offers is more important that aesthetics. It is important that the routine can be printed so I can hand it out to my students and they can practice.
