Autodesk Revit Plugin Developer Our client requires the production of a revit plugin that includes the same functionality as their existing autocad plugin, including library content (which we will provide), do area calculations and produce documentation/schedules of direct purchased items. Most of the functionality is already found in Revit, it will basically consist of links. Menu from the Revit toolbar will need to provide access to: Area Calculations (footage): • A standard workspace template which will included predefined drawing sheets. • Include various area/zone groups. This will automatically select the associate fill colours, room text, areas calculations, line weights, layer types. • A standard area on the drawing file, which will be created automatically based on the areas/zones selected, • Continuous area numbering as part of the overall business unit (BU) • Calculation of various areas/business units across single and multiple floors. Equipment Group 1 : Dropdown menu to include equipment separated into sub- groups. • Export from Revit to AutoCAD/DWG format the equipment is to retain as a minimum the panel outline and shelving zone to predefined layers and any associated text. • Automated Schedule Report to Excel (not cut and paste) Equipment Group 2 (similar to Group 1): • Dropdown menu to include equipment separated into sub-groups. • Error detection – in the case of equipment overlapping, heights of equipment relative to supporting unit. • On exporting a drawing file to AutoCAD/DWG format the equipment is to retain as a minimum the level of detail in plan currently provided in store space to predefined layers and any associated text. • Automated Schedule Report to Excel (not cut and paste).
