So I am not 100 % sure what you want. After reading your project describtion, I see two options. Ether you want to have a program that converts text into a JSON String and then saves it into a file OR You simply want the source code for the program specified above? Hello! I can write a simple program in C++ writing JSON to a file. I know at least 2 free C++ libraries that can be used for json parsing. Both of them have been used by me and have proved to be great. Both of libraries have licenses close to MIT license. One of the libraries is dedicated to JSON parsing/writing. I've used it with MSVS 2005 and 2008 but don't think there will be problems building and using it with MSVS 2012. Another option (which I personally prefer the most) is to use a part of great Boost library for this purpose. Thank you for considering my proposal.
