Chinese Sourcing Agent - Shenzhen

Hello, We want to engage a local product sourcing agent from Shenzhen – China to assist our company with the entire process of locating products and to get the best prices on various products. You must have many and strong connections with domestic companies and agents to know where to find various supplies. You must have good business sense and coordination skills plus adequate knowledge of local languages, including Mandarin and Cantonese and speak and write fluently English. Knowledge of multiple Chinese dialects is a plus. You have to assist with market research, quality control, preshipment inspection and custom clearance. Locate the right suppliers, and meet them to see if they have the ability to take on the orders. Inspect the factories to see if they conform to international standards. This may include evaluations to address various ethical concerns like worries about exploitative labor conditions and pollution. You basically have to manage all the tasks of our supply chain and conduct regular quality checks on our behalf. You must have knowledge of local laws and regulations governing things like import and exports, trade licenses, duties and taxes. You have to be able to navigate through issues like import/export duties, taxes and tariffs, and ensure we don’t violate any law. You have to use your skills and knowledge as a local business norm to cut down on expenses and move goods through shipment more quickly, with little or no risk of a holdup at some point along our supply point.
