I typically bring my laptop out to the field and want an excel spreadsheet to track the purchases we make each day at the local hardware store. => Ok, Please provide the existing excel spreadsheet, so we can analyze required tables, forms, reports etc and can estimate for it. We charge 12 USD per hour for MS Access development by Senior Developer. 9 USD per hour by Junior Developer etc. Introduction :  This is Sham, an application developer of Intellisoft , located in India. Hey, the easiest way to manage your 'inventory' is to have lists in excel with items listed based on their categories and initial quantity at hand. Now, when an item is used, you may simply have to select it from a drop down and enter the quantity used. This way the quantities will always be updated and when you are about to make a purchase simply refer to the spreadsheet and make the decisions. Now, a lot of this could be made very easy by the use of macros and formulas in excel. If you could explain your requirement in a bit more detail, I would certainly be able to help. I use Access because you can't wipe out your data accidentally like you can with Excel, and there are a lot of other advantages I could talk to you about on the phone.
